This race benefits The ALS Association. ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) is a 100% fatal disease of the nervous system that usually goes from diagnosis to death in under five years. There is no known cause and no cure or treatment. The ALS Association is a national force in research and patient services. Through Oso High Endurance Sports, our Honorary Race Director, Doug Schneebeck, and his family have raised over $ 230,000 in the three year relationship between the Oso High mountain bike race and Angel Fire Resort. This year, the Resort is expanding its support of Oso High by taking on the management and production of the race. If you donate to ALSA using the link below or at registration, we will know who you are and you will receive the following benefits:

Brief Description
This year's Chile Challenge race will be a USA Cycling Pro GRT Event that will include Downhill, Dual Slalom on a freshly remodeled track from last year and an Oso High Omnium XC event with Hill Climb, Short Track XC and XC.  All downhillers will have a ton of practice time and everyone will get a seeding run for the most racing and riding possible for the weekend.

All pre-registered riders will receive a free Chile Challenge t-shirt and the lowest price possible to compete in any event.

USA Cycling Annual & Day Licenses
If you have not yet purchased your 2013 USA Cycling License we will have both annual & 1 day USA Cycling licenses for sale at the event. The required USA Cycling & Angel Fire Bike Park release forms will be supplied at packet pick up. 

Additional Information
Qualifier for the Nationals! A $4,000 pro cash purse and USAC Points will be awarded for the downhill competition. Prizes and awards will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in all amateur classes in all disciplines for both DH & DS.   On site camping will be Free! All DH prices include unlimited chair-lift service on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am until 5pm. All racecourses will be marked & open for practice on Friday. See you at the race!
