Younger riders and what you should know

Families are encouraged to get out and try this sport together as we look to build bike enthusiasts of all ages.
Riders must be able to comfortably ride a bike and properly operate a hand brake.

Minors, age 17 and under, will need a parent/guardian to sign their waiver.
Introductory mountain bike lessons are available for kids of any ability level and are catered around the student.

Tips for Parents

Monitor your child while riding, as young riders will tire easily. Keep hydrated!

Your child must be able to sit on the lift unassisted. Sitting on laps is not permitted.

Rent/Buy protective gear, including a properly sized full-face helmet, gloves, long pants, long sleeves, elbow/knee pads and closed-toed shoes.

Ask Questions! If you are unsure about which trails your child should ride, or any other things that may arise, feel free to ask. Our staff is here to help your family have a great time at the Angel Fire Bike Park.

Save time by signing our Mountain Biking Waiver online!
